Sharjah summer youth programme draws strong community support

The programme launched with ‘I am creative’ (30 June–3 July), focusing on artistic appreciation, followed by ‘This is Sharjah’ (7–10 July), which included field trips to key Sharjah landmarks. Week three, ‘I am the community’ (14–17 July), promoted values of belonging and responsibility. Week four, ‘I am athletic’ (21–24 July), will emphasise physical and mental fitness, and the programme concludes with ‘I am the future’ (28–31 July), exploring innovation, AI, and future technologies.

At Hall 4, Stand A-045, the Sharjah Classic Car Club (SCC) became the centre of attention at the Abu Dhabi Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) on September 5, 2025. Visitors gathered to take pictures next to a vintage Land Rover, paying tribute to the days when falconry and hunting expeditions in the United Arab Emirates were synonymous.

As part of its participation in the 44th edition of the Sharjah Heritage Days, the Sharjah Old Cars Club has launched three new publications at the Sharjah Heritage Museum. The exhibition, organized by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage under the theme “Roots”, runs until April 16 in the Heart of Sharjah district, in collaboration with the Sharjah Heritage Club.

 

Masar 71 Rally celebrates 54th Eid Al Etihad

The rally saw the participation of 130 riders from the UAE and other Gulf countries, who arrived in their classic cars of various makes and models to embark on an exceptional journey, exploring Sharjah’s most prominent natural and tourist attractions.

2025’s rally will take place over five exciting stops, showcasing the beautiful and diverse landscapes of Sharjah. It kicks off at the Sharjah Old Cars Club and makes its way to Al Badayer Oasis in Al Madam. From there, participants will enjoy scenic trails that highlight Sharjah’s natural beauty as they travel to the Hanging Gardens in Kalba and then to the amazing Roman Amphitheater in Khorfakkan, where sea views meet mountains, creating a stunning backdrop for the rally.

This achievement reflects a drive toward institutional integration with official entities—most notably the Ministry of Interior and the Sharjah Police General Command—and aligns with the strategy of the Sharjah Sports Council, which aims to deliver smart, integrated services that meet customer expectations and enhance institutional performance.
